WELCOME TO ADDERBURY BOWLS CLUB
Since 1926 Adderbury Bowls Club has been the home of good competitive bowling, sportsmanship and friendship.
Today, ninety years after its first match, the club is thriving with a full fixture list and a busy social calendar.
We play in Division Two of the Oxford and District Bowls League and we also have a full programme of Saturday and mid-week non-league matches.
We compete in national and county competitions – and our own club championships are keenly contested.
Our green is maintained in first class condition to encourage good bowling.
The spacious clubhouse is comfortably furnished and has a well-stocked bar with drinks at club prices.
New men and women members, playing or social and of all ages, are always welcome.
Off the green, we organise regular social events including monthly quiz nights, music/dance evenings, and other occasions.
If you’re looking for exercise, competitive or easy-going sport, friendship – and a great social life, Adderbury Bowls Club is the place to be.
Please note that Adderbury Bowls Club has a strict 'no dogs' policy.

SPORT FOR ALL
Bowls is a great sport – for men and for women.
It’s good for you physically, mentally and socially.
It’s a popular conception that bowls is for older people – but it’s not. It's for all ages, the young, middle-aged and the elderly.
At Adderbury we cater for everyone - all ages and all backgrounds. Some of our members have played other sports while some members have no sporting background at all.
We have matches and competitions for serious and competitive bowlers, and there are opportunities for those just want to ‘roll up’ with friends.
It’s up to you. You can play in club friendly games and/or in competitive league matches and competitions. You can play at different levels – club, county, national.
And, all year round, you can enjoy the bar and the varied social life of the club.
If you want to try the game, we can lend you all the equipment you will need, including bowls and shoes, so you can sample the sport with no initial expense.
New bowlers are advised to read the New Members page of this website.
